Health Ministry Inaugurates New Project Management Unit (PMU)

13th September, 2024 Juba – South Sudan – The National Minister of Health, Hon. Yolanda Awel, expressed her gratitude to the donor community and partners for their support of the health sector transformation project.

In a significant move to bolster healthcare services, the National Ministry of Health inaugurated and established a new Project Management Unit (PMU). This strategic initiative is designed to oversee the implementation of the newly launched health sector transformation project.

The PMU will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and monitoring various healthcare projects across the country. By centralizing project management, the ministry aims to enhance efficiency, accountability, and transparency in service delivery.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the National Minister of Health, Hon. Yolanda Awel, expressed her gratitude to the donor community and partners for their support of the health sector transformation project.
