A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Health (MoH) and its partners has arrived in Aweil for an Implementation Support Mission (ISM) as part of the ongoing Health Sector Transformation Project (HSTP).
This vital mission underscores the Ministry's commitment to ensuring the effective execution and success of the HSTP across all states. The HSTP is the Government-led, multi-donor project, supported by partners like the World Bank, UNICEF, and WHO, which is focused on strengthening the national health system and ensuring the delivery of essential health and nutrition services nationwide.
Mission Focus
The Implementation Support Mission (ISM) team will engage with state and county health officials, facility staff, and local communities in Aweil to:
- Review Progress: Assess the current status and progress of HSTP activities on the ground.
- Identify Challenges: Pinpoint any bottlenecks or challenges affecting the delivery of quality health services.
- Provide Guidance: Offer direct technical support and guidance to local teams on project implementation, operational effectiveness, and resource management.
